The Thane Janata Sahakari Bank will soon expand its operations outside Maharashtra and plans to open branches in Goa and Karnataka, a top official said here.
Addressing the media here, the CEO Mr Satish Utekar, said the bank had obtained permission from the RBI to open a total of 16 branches including those in Belgaum in Karnataka and Mapusa in Goa.
The bank presently is catering to its customers through a close network of 54 Branches and Extension Counters spread all over the city of Thane, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Nasik, Pune and Satara.
