The Agrasen Co-operative Urban Bank Ltd’s total business increased 17 per cent to Rs 433 crore in the third-quarter ended December 2015 compared to Rs 370 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The deposits of the bank increased to Rs 261 crore from Rs 232 crore, while its advances grew to Rs 172 crore (Rs 138 crore). The net profit of the bank stood at Rs 3.79 crore.
Agrasen Bank also initiated an ‘Intensive Business Mobilisation Campaign’ unveiling innovative and customer-friendly schemes, which helped the bank reach a bigger audience and achieve profits, Pramod Kumar Kedia, its Chairman, said in a release.
