Andhra Bank has increased interest rates on domestic term deposits with effect from August 8, 2011.
The interest rate on term deposits for 46 days to 90 days was increased from 5 per cent to 6 per cent, while it had gone up from 7 per cent to 7.25 per cent for 91 days to 179 days (less than Rs one crore).
The hike in interest rate on other term deposits of various maturity period ranged from 0.25 per cent to one per cent, according to a release.
