Private sector Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has posted a 13.4 per cent increase in gross written premium to ₹5,567 crore in the first nine months of the fiscal, against ₹4,908 crore a year ago. During the period, individual rated new business premium also grew by 14 per cent to ₹1,053 crore, compared to ₹ 923 crore between April and December 2017. “The company’s average ticket size also moved up by 22 per cent to ₹53,586 in the first nine months of the fiscal from ₹43,865 a year ago,” it said on Tuesday.
