Bajaj Finserv’s consolidated net profit in the second quarter ended September 30 rose by 14.2 per cent to Rs 315.93 crore.
Its consolidated net profit in the corresponding July-September quarter in previous fiscal stood at Rs 276.54 crore.
Total consolidated income increased from Rs 1,309.42 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 to Rs 1,648.46 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014, it said in a filing to the BSE.
On standalone basis, the net income of the company increased by 6.5 per cent to Rs 60.03 crore, over Rs 56.36 crore a year ago.
“Total income (standalone) has decreased from Rs 83.28 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 to Rs 78.22 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014,” it said.
Bajaj Finserv shares closed 3.9 per cent lower to Rs 1,070 apiece on the BSE.
