BusinessLine , in association with the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), will hold a financial conclave on March 7. XIME, a management school, will be the knowledge partner.
The event will feature two panel discussions. One of these will be on the non-performing assets (NPAs) plaguing the banking industry, while the other will be on the fintech industry.
For the discussion on NPA issue, the panelists are: the former deputy managing director of State Bank of India, Ashwin Mehra; Khaitan & Co’s associate partner Udayarkar Rangarajan; founder and CEO of fonepaisa.com Ritesh Agarwal; Federal Bank’s vice-president and zonal head Nandakumar; and Prabal Basu Roy, a Sloan Fellow of the London Business School.
Basu Roy also manages a PE fund, advises corporates and has formerly been director and group CFO in various companies.
For the discussion on fintech and banks, the panelists, apart from Nandakumar and Ashwin Mehra, include: India Partner, PwC, Ram Periyagaram; founder and CEO of Zerodha, Nithin Kamath; and head of capital markets, Capital Float, Akshay Sarma.
The event will be held at the FKCCI auditorium.
