Corporation Bank opened its 34th ATM in Mangalore at Coast Guard Headquarters No 3 at Panambur in New Mangalore on Tuesday.
A bank release said here that the ATM was inaugurated by Commandant P.S. Jha, Commander of the Coast Guard, Karnataka, in the presence of Mr Narendra Singh, Executive Director of the bank, and Mr B.R. Bhat, General Manager of the bank. With the opening of Corporation Bank's ATM at the Coast Guard Headquarters near Panambur beach, the bank has more than 1,250 ATMs in the country, it said.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Singh said the ATM is specially opened for the convenience of tourists as well as for the denizens of Mangalore.
Commandant Jha urged the staff members of Coast Guard to make use of the ATM installed by the bank.
