Edelweiss Alternative Asset Advisors Ltd (EAAA), a subsidiary of Edelweiss Financial Services, has closed its India dedicated Alternative Investment Strategy Fund ( EISAF II), by raising ₹9,200 crores ($1.3 billion).
Edelweiss Financial Services and its nominees have 95 per cent shareholding in EAAA, which reported a loss of ₹12.23 crore in the financial year ended March 31, 2018 against a loss of ₹24.78 crore in the preceding financial year.
As at March-end 2018, EAAA's total assets and liabilities stood at ₹78.24 crore (₹12.64 crore as at March-end 2017) and ₹125.58 crore (₹47.75 crore) respectively.
