Avanse Education Loans, an education finance company, has come up with a novel product that promises 5 per cent cash-back on the tuition fees for girls who pursue undergraduate and post-graduate courses across any preferred segment, a company official said.
The product — Swalaksh — is seen as an industry first in the private sector. The cash-back would get realised only on completion of the identified course.
The scholarshipThis scholarship will be available to girl students who avail of an education loan from Avanse, which is an affiliate company of DHFL, a housing finance major.
A girl student with an inclination to study further, and on taking into account the credibility of the college and course, will be eligible to apply for the scholarship anywhere in India as well as overseas.
For instance, on a tuition fee of ₹20 lakh in any global institution, Swalakshwill offer a 5 per cent scholarship or ₹1 lakh cash-back advantage, on completion of the course.
