Foreign exchange reserves increased $780.9 million during the week ended November 13, to $352.51 billion, according toReserve Bank of India data. In the previous reporting week ending November 6, the reserves had dipped $1.9 billion to $351.73 billion. During the week under review, foreign currency assets, which form a key component of the reserves, increased $793.5 million from the previous week to $328.53 billion. Gold reserves during the week remained unchanged. However, Special Drawing Rights and India’s reserve position in the IMF declined $9.5 million and $3.1 million to $3.998 billion and $1.296 billion, respectively.
