GIC Housing takes LIC Nomura stake

GIC Housing Finance on Wednesday said its board of directors have approved a proposal to acquire up to 16 per cent in the paid-up equity share capital of LIC Nomura Mutual Fund Asset Management Company for a consideration not exceeding ₹22.68 crore.

In a notice to the BSE, the housing finance company also said that it will acquire up to 16 per cent in the paid-up equity share capital of LIC Nomura Mutual Fund Trustee Company for a consideration not exceeding ₹1.26 lakh.
