This would help strengthen the commercial viability of business correspondents, said Mr M.G. Sanghvi, Chairman and Managing Director, Syndicate Bank, and the Chairman – State Level Bankers' Committee – Karnataka, in a press release.
Syndicate, SLBC – Convenor, held a meeting of the lead district managers (LDMs) of Karnataka on Thursday in Bangalore.

Mr Sanghvi appreciated the initiatives taken by the Karnataka Government for the Bhoomi-Bank integration by computerising the land records of farmers enabling the bank branches for creation, modification and release of charge for sanction of agriculture loans.
Mr Ravi Chatterjee, Executive Director, Syndicate Bank, urged the LDMs to implement and operationalise Bhoomi-Bank integration in the four pilot districts — Kolar, Tumkur, Mandya and Mysore and take it forward to all the districts.
