The committee of directors of mortgage lender HDFC will meet on June 19 to consider capital raising plans.
“A meeting of the Committee of Directors of the Corporation, constituted by the board of directors, will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020, to consider seeking shareholders’ approval for raising funds by issue of equity shares and or other securities...,” HDFC said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.
It had recently announced that it planned to raise up to Rs 4,000 crore by way of bonds on private placement basis.
