Multinational bank HSBC, along with the Hyderabad-based incubator T-Hub, plans to work with fintech companies to develop innovative products and services in the banking space.

The partnership is aimed at tapping the potential of emerging technologies to improve customer experience. Fintech startups and developers will be invited to identify and apply new solutions that can enhance user experience.

“Financial institutions are actively exploring blockchain technology. There is an increasing demand for innovative technology solutions to enable user-friendly services,” Jay Krishnan, Chief Executive Officer of T-Hub, said after announcing the partnership.

“Technology and innovation are rapidly changing the way customers want to access banking services. We want to try new ways of doing things. This collaboration will help us deliver products and services in ways that are simpler, better and faster for our customers”, Paul Raddon, Head of Operations (Global Service Centres), HSBC, said.
