IDBI Bank Ltd has launched a multi-currency remittance facility for its customers for both trade and non-trade payments at all branches in India. The facility is available in more than 125 currencies.

“Our bank has tied up with Deutsche Bank to offer customers the multi currency remittance facility,” said Mr Viney Kumar, Executive Director, IDBI Bank.

The facility offers transparency to the customer in terms of exchange rate of the exotic currency and insulates against subsequent volatility. Authorised dealer branches of IDBI Bank will execute the payment.
