Mr K. Venkataraman, Managing Director and CEO, SBI Global Factors, is to take over the reins of Karur Vysya Bank with effect from June 1.
He will succeed Mr P. T. Kuppuswamy, the incumbent Managing Director, who is to demit office on the expiry of his tenure on May 31.
The bank has informed the stock exchange that the RBI has, on the recommendation of the bank's board, appointed Mr Venkataraman as the CEO of KVB for a period of three years from June 1.
