Karnataka Bank Limited has promoted two of its General Managers, Balachandra YV and Gokuldas Pai, as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Business Officer (CBO), respectively.
A press release said that Balachandra is a postgraduate in Commerce, a fellow member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (CAIIB).
On promotion to the cadre of Chief General Manager (CGM), Balachandra will be the COO and will be overall in-charge of departments of Treasury and Accounts, Credit Monitoring., Legal and Recovery, IT and MIS, and HR and IR.
Gokuldas Pai is a postgraduate in Agricultural Science and a CAIIB.
On promotion to the cadre of CGM, Pai will be the CBO of the bank and will be overall in-charge of Credit Marketing, Credit Sanctions, Branch Banking and Digital Channels and Transformation Cell, the release added.
