Consumer Electronics major LG Electronics India on Wednesday announced the launch of an exclusive OEM co-branded card in partnership with Bajaj Finserv. The company said the co-branded card will enable customers to buy all LG products at no-cost EMI option across all LG formats.

It will be available to customers buying LG products on a minimum invoice amount of ₹7,000 and maximum of up to ₹2 lakh.

In a statement, Kim Ki Wan, MD, LG Electronics India, said, “As we enter this year’s festival season, we are introducing the first of its kind co-branded store card in a strategic partnership with Bajaj Finserv. This offering will enable us to strengthen our relationship with our Indian customers as now they will be able to buy the best of various products at easy payment options.”

Amit Gujral, Chief Marketing Officer, LG Electronics India, added: “With growing aspirations, consumers are increasingly opting for financing options to upgrade their lifestyle by buying premium products. This is the first of its kind co-branded card which will offer consumers ease of purchase and enhance their buying experience while stimulating higher spends. We believe about 50 lakh consumers will avail this card in the next one year.”

He added that the company has seen good response from consumers and targeting 15 per cent growth in sales in this festival season period.

The South Korean consumer electronics major is eyeing double digit growth in turnover this fiscal on the back of expansion of its premium product portfolio.
