The Dakshina Kannada district administration, in association with the State-level bankers’ committee, will organise a ‘Mudra’ promotion campaign in Mangaluru on October 16.
Addressing presspersons in Mangaluru on Wednesday, Nalin Kumar Kateel, Member of Parliament from Dakshina Kannada, said the Mudra promotion campaigns are being held at 50 locations across the country till October 17.
Banks have extended Mudra loans to the tune of ₹748.95 crore to 59,408 beneficiaries in the district. The campaign will create awareness on different modes of digital transactions.
