Max Healthcare on Wednesday said its CEO and Managing Director, Mr Pervez Ahmed, is stepping down. The company has formed an interim team to take care of day-to-day operations till a new structure is in place.
“Max Healthcare has announced the formation of an interim functional taskforce to conduct day-to-day operations and manage transition till the new leadership structure is appointed,” the company said in a statement.
Mr Ahmed remains available to facilitate a smooth transition, it added.
The taskforce would comprise clinical and administrative leaders and will be co-chaired by group Chairman, Mr Analjit Singh, and Max India Managing Director, Mr Rahul Khosla.
In June, Mr Analjit Singh had stepped down as Managing Director of Max India group and appointed Mr Khosla for the position.
