PNB Housing Finance reported a 32 per cent increase in consolidated net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2018, at ₹303 crore.
The housing finance company had recorded a net profit of ₹229.5 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
For the quarter under review, total income increased to ₹2,078.46 crore (₹1,416.21 crore). Net interest income registered a 35 per cent growth to ₹558.2 crore (₹412.2 crore).
Net interest margin came in at 3.06 per cent against 3.02 per cent for the same quarter in the previous year.
Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) of the company rose to 0.47 per cent of the assets, compared to 0.42 per cent in the same period a year ago.
At the same time, net NPAs widened to 0.37 per cent from 0.31 per cent.
