Punjab National Bank (PNB) has launched slew of digital banking solutions aimed at improving customer experience.

The digital solutions launched at the hands of Usha Ananthasubramanian, Managing Director and CEO, PNB, include an industry first App enabling the customer to locate PNB ATM with 'PNB ATM Assist'.

This android app facilitates the customer to use GPS and reach the nearest PNB ATM.

Another android based App, 'PNB MOBIEASE' to help undertake basic banking has also been launched.

Keeping the customer transaction security on top of mind, "PNB sleep easy", a SMS based application to block and unblock Internet banking and mobile banking was launched.

This facilitates customer to lock the Internet banking transaction at will with simple SMS and unlock only by customer. This app will enhance the customer confidence in online banking, a PNB release said.

On this occasion, a GREEN PIN facility to enable customers obtain duplicate PIN for debit card instantly through SMS request was also launched.

PNB has also now introduced Online Saving Fund account opening. Be it home, office, day or night, one can now open PNB account with this web based solution.

Usha Ananthasubramanian said these digital banking solutions were just the beginning and many more would be introduced in 2016 to enhance customer experience and make banking a pleasure.
