State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has opened a customer care centre here to provide information on products and services, support and guidance on banking matters and redressal of customer issues.
Jeevandas Narayan, Managing Director of the bank, inaugurated the centre, styled ‘SBT Care’ and housed in the LIC Complex at Pattom.
Callers may access the facility through toll-free number 1800-425-7733 to access information on loan and deposit products.
Other services offered include ATM card trouble shooting, Internet and mobile banking support, and receipt of complaints and grievances.
Working hours The centre will function from 8 am to 8 pm on week days. Unlike call centres ‘SBT Care’ will be manned by bank’s own staff with good banking exposure to ensure caller satisfaction.
The toll-free line also offers the option to choose language and a call-back system during busy hours and beyond working hours to ensure caller satisfaction.
The bank has also rolled out a ‘missed call facility.’ Account holders with a registered mobile phone may give a missed call on the toll-free 1800-270-2525 to get an SMS showing account balance.
