Backed by higher disbursements, Srei Infrastructure Finance posted a 43 per cent rise in standalone net profit at ₹30 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2018, compared to ₹21 crore in the same period last year.
Net profit grew by nearly 115 per cent on consolidated basis at ₹140 crore during the period under review.
Consolidated disbursements grew by nearly 35 per cent at ₹5,941 crore, compared to ₹4,406 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of last year.
Consolidated assets under management stood at ₹49,390 crore (₹39,766 crore).
According to Hemant Kanoria, Chairman and Managing Director, Srei, there has been an overall improvement in the business.
The company’s scrip closed at ₹51.50, up 3.31 per cent on the BSE on Wednesday.
