Sundaram Finance reported an 18 per cent growth in net profit during the second quarter of the current year, compared with the previous year corresponding quarter. The net profit was ₹153.98 crore (₹130.26 crore) on income of ₹584.05 crore (₹561.95 crore) for the quarter ended September 30, 2015. In the reporting quarter, other income stood at ₹87.55 crore (₹48.77 crore), which includes profit of ₹40.65 crore on sale of equity shares in BNP Paribas Sundaram Global Securities Operations Pvt Ltd.
