Vijaya Bank NPA comes down

Vijaya Bank saw improvement in asset quality for the quarter ended September 30, 2017.

The gross NPA ratio came down to 7.06 per cent during the quarter from 7.07 per cent.

Net NPA was down at 4.86 per cent from 5.10 per cent. The provision coverage ratio was at 59.29 per cent. The bank celebrated 87th Foundation Day on October 27.

It is also observing Vigilance Awareness Week from October 30 to November 4. The bank is also organising walkathon, marathon, cyclathon in several parts of the country.
