According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), it would be heavy to very heavy at isolated places over West Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and heavy at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Vidarbha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Marathawada and Telangana.
