A serosurvey conducted in Chennai has revealed that nearly one-third of the city's population has been exposed to the covid-19 pathogen. The Greater Chennai Corporation, in the report Chennai Serosurvey-II, said that they tested 6,389 samples, and that there was an overall positivity rate of 32.3 per cent. This is higher than the numbers from the first survey, which was conducted in July.
