With 48,661 people testing positive for coronavirus infection in a day, India’s Covid-19 tally climbed to 13,85,522 on Sunday, while the recoveries mounted to 8,85,576.
There are 4,67,882 active cases of coronavirus infection presently in the country.
In his weekly Mann ki baat , PM Modi stated that it is phenomenal how the entire country has tackled the Novel Coronavirus pandemic over the past few months, also warned that Covid-19 has not gone away, and stated that it is spreading fast in many areas.
He also asked people to wear a mask, maintain two feet distance, wash hands, don’t spit, and maintain hygiene and not to act carelessly.
He also appreciated the effort of local communities across India in controlling Covid-19.
