Twitter fails to meet new IT rules, loses 'intermediary' status

Twitter has lost its intermediary status in India and is now liable for users' content. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has slammed Twitter today. He said that the American social media company has "deliberately chosen the path of non-compliance."
