A study published in The Lancet Infectious Diseases journal has revealed that vaccinating all adults cannot solely help preventing the spread of covid-19 and achieving herd immunity.
Preliminary findings revealed that vaccines provide a level of protection against the virus infection, but the exact level of protection offered is unclear.
It further stated that other control measures like wearing a mask and hand hygiene with increased vaccination could reduce the future waves of infection.
