It's that time of the year, again.  The world's largest tech show Consumer Electronics Show is on in Las Vegas. Ahead of the opening on January 8, the organisers--the Consumer Technology Association--in their trends report have forecast that love for gadgets will push US retail revenue in the sector to a record $398 billion this year. The fair that runs till January 11 will see companies showcasing the newest tech in mobile computing, health, sports, automobiles and agriculture.

This year, the tech show is happening under the cloud of US government shutdown, US-China trade war and Apple's lower sales.
