Twenty-five primates have been identified as the world’s most endangered species.
In the seventh biennial listing, the International Primatological Society and Conservation International and others have identified them for focused attention and conservation.
These include langurs, loris, gibbon, galago, spider monkey and lemur, among others. These are spread across the world. India too has identified few species for attention.
