A meeting of officials of the Home Ministry and Chief Secretaries of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is being held in New Delhi today to discuss concerns of both States post-division.
Teams headed by AP Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao and Telangana Chief Secretary Rajeev Sharma are in Delhi for the meeting.
The meeting assumes importance in the backdrop of concerns over sharing of various assets such as power and water by the two States and with regard to ticklish issues such as education scholarships and the modalities of their implementation.
