Vodafone India has launched a texting service that allows customers to find blood donors or become one through easy search.
The user needs to text ‘BLOOD’ to 55444 and find a donor or become one by replying as per the instructions in two or three easy steps, a company spokesman said.
Search results are narrowed down to the user’s pin code. Users will be charged Re 1 for each SMS.
The service is supported by Innoz, specialising in mobile and wireless innovation who has in turn partnered with >IndianBlooddonors.com , the spokesman added.
