The regional office of Central Bank of India in Coimbatore has donated traffic barricades to the city traffic police here as a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) gesture.
Rajasekaran, Deputy Commissioner, City Traffic Police, Coimbatore, while appreciating the efforts of the bank said that Central Bank was the first bank in the city to initiate such a step.
The barricades have been donated to promote awareness about traffic etiquettes and to stress upon the importance of traffic regulations and safety to public life, said Devendra Prasad, Senior Regional Manager, Central Bank of India.
