The Supreme Court today pulled up the Centre and state pollution control boards for not taking action against polluting industries functioning on the banks of river Ganga.
"Yours is a story of complete failure, frustration and disaster,'' the apex court told the boards.
It has asked the National Green Tribunal to monitor and take action against all polluting industrial units on the banks of river Ganga.
