Salman Khan-starrer Jai Ho has grossed ₹101.26 crore worldwide in the first three days, said Eros International. The movie earned ₹78.90 crore as gross box office collection, while net collections stood at ₹60.68 crore in India. It earned about ₹22.36 crore in overseas territories.
The movie had a slow start and opened with ₹17.75 crore last Friday, and dropped on Saturday to ₹16.68 crore. However, the distributors said that on Sunday the collections saw a jump of 64 per cent earning ₹26.25 crore at the domestic box office.
In a statement, Nandu Ahuja, Senior V-P, India Theatrical, Eros International Media Ltd, said,“Salman fans have given a huge thumbs up to Jai Ho . This is an outstanding opening and his highest where we didn’t have the added advantage of a long weekend”.
Directed by Sohail Khan, the movie also stars Tabu, Daisy Shah and Danny Denzongpa in important roles.
