The Telugu Desam Legislature Party will be meeting tonight in the Temple town of Tirupati at 7 pm to elect its leader.
The TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu will be elected and the announcement made later tonight.
Naidu is expected to take oath as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh (Seemandhra) on June 8 near Guntur. He had announced his decision to be sworn in chief minister in Seemandhra as he had promised to that he would take oath in the new State.
