Not our job to interfere in Nepal’s affairs: Modi

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, today said in his address to Nepal’s parliament that India and Nepal ties are as old as Ganga and Himalayas.

He said: “I salute the Gurkha soldiers who attained martyrdom for India.”

Stating that Nepal is a truly sovereign nation, he said: “It is not our job to interfere in Nepal’s internal affairs.”

He also announced NRs 10,000 crore as concessional line of credit to Nepal.
