Wooing Indian visitors, the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism is here with a road show showcasing various tourist attractions in the UAE.
Indian visitors to Abu Dhabi are on the rise, witnessing 11 per cent growth, thanks to the increased connectivity offered by Etihad and Jet Airways from 13 Indian destinations. Abu Dhabi received over three lakh visitors from India as hotel guests last year with an average stay of 2.7 nights, said Mubarak Al Nuaimi, Director, Promotions and Overseas Offices, Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority.
According to him, India is a crucial market with a potential to expand the tourism inflow, positioning Abu Dhabi as the ultimate destination for vacations, leisure travel, and weddings.
