Adda52, an online poker firm, has roped in Jamaican cricketer Chris Gayle as its brand ambassador. The company also conducted an event, 'Poker Nights with Gayle', to promote the online game.
The financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
“Gayle symbolises both fun and success, making him the right choice to showcase Adda52’s vision. Such attitude and traits have tremendous synergy with Poker playing audience who have the passion to make it big. These synergies between Gayle and Adda52 and the former's interest in the game of Poker makes this the right combination,” Mohit Agarwal, CEO and Co-founder of Adda52 said.
Speaking on the event Gayle said: "It is astonishing as well as liberating to see the pace at which the poker industry is growing in India and I am delighted to be a part of this revolution by being associated with the leaders in the industry."
