To promote the culture of far-flung areas of Kashmir Valley, All India Radio (AIR) will be conducting first-ever talent hunt show close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Karnah area of Kupwara district.
“This will be the first ever talent hunt show to be conducted close to Line of Control,” producer of the programme Maqsood Ahmad said.
The show will include competition in singing, poetry besides debates and discussions, Ahmad said.
“The basic aim of holding the contest is to provide an opportunity to the youth from far-flung areas of the Valley to showcase their talent. It will also familiarise the masses about the potential of these areas besides highlighting their culture,” he said.
Ahmad said the talent hunt show will be held on Sunday and is open to students of all the local schools and the lone degree college of Karnah area.
