Airtel too joins Kabali bandwagon, offers special packages

Rajinikanth fans using Airtel connection will get a treat from the mobile service provider which is announcing special packages to promote the mega budget movie Kabali.

With the movie to be released on July 22, Airtel has launched Kabali exclusive products and services, including Kabali recharge packs with unlimited 2G internet, Kabali Hello Tunes and new Kabali branded SIM packs.

Airtel users can also wish the superstar directly viaAirtel exclusive SMS channel. Messages received from customers (names included) will be compiled into a coffee table book and presented to the superstar as a memorabilia, George Mathen, Hub CEO - Kerala & Tamil Nadu, Bharti Airtel, told newspersons.

Airtel will also roll out 3D Holographic Airtel Kabali Van that will go around Tamil Nadu running movie teaser and exclusive bytes from the cast as well. The journey will commence a week before the release of the movie and go on for about a month.

The ‘Wish Rajini’ campaign will be promoted through large format Kabali hoardings across the state and radio spots, he said.

D Paranthaman, CEO, V Creations, which has produced the mega budget film, said it will be first released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. In September, the company plans to release in Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Malay languages with sub-titles.

The company is importing various Kabali merchandise from China, and they should be available before therelease, he said.
