In a bid to tap into the $210-billion hospitality market in India, Anarock Property Consultants, a real estate services firm, announced its partnership with a global hospitality consulting company HVS on Thursday.
HVS Anarock, a new vertical under the Anarock Group, will focus on brokerage, feasibility studies, operator searches, appraisals, executive search and other hospitality sector consulting and advisory services throughout South Asia.
The partnership is expected to boost HVS India’s annual turnover by up to 75 per cent. Anuj Puri, Chairman, Anarock Property Consultants, has also been appointed as Chairman-Hospitality at HVS Anarock.
“HVS India has had more than two decades of exposure in the country, and we anticipate the partnership will leverage Anarock’s proprietary real estate funding platform to increase HVS India’s revenues by up to 75 per cent over the next two years,” said Stephen Rushmore Jr, President and CEO, HVS.
“Tourism in India is growing by over 15 per cent annually, and the launch of HVS Anarock coincides with some of the most exciting times for the Indian hospitality industry,” said Puri.
