The Kamalnadhan Panel will announce final guidelines on division of staff between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Friday.
The commission, which held a series of discussions with employee associations and other stakeholders, is giving final touches to its report today, according to official sources. It is expected to give "options'' to the employees in allotment.
However, the final allotment might not happen entirely on the basis of options chosen and would also take into account the nativity factor, according to official sources.
After the release of final norms, a week’s time would be given the employees to raise any objections.
The options are unlikely to be given for officers belonging to All India Services and the Centre is expected to announce norms for their allotment to the two states in about a week.
