The 29th edition of the Indian Carpet Expo is drawing robust response from overseas buyers with over 300 buyers from different countries taking part in it.
“The expo has attained the status of the largest carpet fair in Asia, it has also received great appreciation from the visiting overseas buyers,” Carpet Export Promotion Council Chairman, Kuldeep Wattal said in a statement.
He further said: “The latest design and colour trends as per the feedback by importing countries have added to the increase in number of orders being placed by the buyers.”
The expo held at Pragati Maidan was inaugurated yesterday by Textiles Minister Santosh Gangwar.
