Tea retail chain Chai Point plans to add 30 new stores to its 100-store footprint in Bengaluru, Delhi, NCR, Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad at a total investment of ₹12 crore this fiscal.
“Our revenue grew 60 per cent year-on-year in FY2018, reaching close to ₹100 crore,” Amuleek Singh Bijral, Co-founder and CEO, told BusinessLine on the sidelines of the company’s 100th store launch in Bengaluru on Friday.
“The plan is to open 30 stores this fiscal at an investment of ₹40 lakh per store and strengthen our presence in the cities where we are currently present,” he said.
