The team from Chennai Silks comprising Arun Saravanan and Yogesh Pai emerged winners at the regional round of the Tata Crucible Business Quiz 2012, held in Coimbatore last week.
The Chennai Silks team will now compete with the winning teams from 20 other cities on October 7 in Mumbai.
The Coimbatore regional round saw participation from 53 teams from some leading companies in this region. The top six teams were selected after a written round.
Sheilendra Bhansali and Priya Bhansali from Kumbat and Company bagged the runner-up position.
While the winners were awarded a cash prize of Rs 75,000, the runner-up team got Rs 35,000.
The organisers plan to conduct the business quiz in 21 cities for non-Tata track and eight cities for Tata track, this year. The two new cities added this year are Thiruvananthapuram and Gurgaon.
