The Enforcement Directorate has provisionally attached assets worth about Rs 2 crore belonging to Dasari Narayana Rao, former union coal minister in a case relating to coal block allocation.
The ED had earlier registered a money laundering case wherein the CBI had contended that coal blocks were allotted to Jindal Steel in Jharkhand and the ministers firm received funds.
The enforcement agency has provisionally attached properties of Rao including two vehicles and fixed deposits.
